Salmon and Succotash Dinner/Fundraiser
Hi, So much going on this year
The Scandinavian Festival
Trying to launch our “farm to table” hard seltzer company
Trying to get a second Cookshack for this opportunity we have down in Eugene
So many inquiries about farm dinners, and we need the support in our struggle with Lane County, so I’ve called in every favor I could, and we’re going to do another “Salmon And Succotash” farm dinner.
One seating of 50
$75 per person
That will include 5 courses and 5 beverage courses
If you got a chance to join us last year? I humbly submit that it was THE salmon dinner to have enjoyed in Oregon. So proud of what we were able to put on our plates here at the farm that day.
It’s going to be even better this year!
This year’s menu:
First course will feature a mixed field green salad with a bounty of garden fresh greens lightly dressed with an herbed apple cider vinaigrette. Complemented by a pan rustica and chive butter.
Second course will be a seafood chowder. Blistered corn and local seafood in a lean, vibrant broth.
Third course will be an intermezzo of plum nectar granita. Just for a little palate cleanse.
Fourth course will feature fresh Alaskan Coho salmon and a sweet summer succotash (a Hentze Family Farm staple this time of year).
Fifth course will be a French apple tart with clotted cream.
